Philippians 4:19

S- 19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (KJV). 19 My God will meet all your needs. He will meet them in keeping with his wonderful riches. These riches come to you because you belong to Christ Jesus (NIRV).

O- We that Paul has learned to be content in all situations. He also remembers that as Christians through Christ who gives us strength we can do anything that God sets out for us to do. He reminds us that God will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

A- I need to remember that God will provide everything that I need, and not to stress about how I will get here and there. I also need to continue to remember that God will supply everything in my life that I need.

P- Lord, thank you for reminding me that you will supply all my needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus, and that I do not need to be concerned about what I will eat, drink, wear, and how I will get places without a car. I know that you will provide a way that I will finally get my driver’s license, and help me not to stress out about things that I cannot control. In your name Amen.

Genesis 22:13-14

Well this time around I am going to use the KJV along with my usual NIRV for the Names of God study from Love God Greatly.

S-Genesis 22:13-14 13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.14 And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen (KJV). Genesis 22:13-14 13 Abraham looked around. There in a bush he saw a ram caught by its horns. He went over and took the ram. He sacrificed it as a burnt offering instead of his son. 14 So Abraham named that place The Lord Will Provide. To this day people say, “It will be provided on the mountain of the Lord (NIRV).

O- These verses are talking about how when Abraham was ready to sacrifice his son he did it willingly and the angel came out of heaven and said Abraham and he said Here am I. The Lord told him not lay his hand upon the child, and do nothing to harm him because the Lord saw that Abraham feared God, and the Lord saw that Abraham was not going to withheld his only son from the Lord. When Abraham saw the ram than he took it and offered it as a sacrifice to the Lord instead of his son. Then Abraham called that place Jehovahjireh(The Lord will provide).

A- I must always remember that the Lord will provide all my needs instead of always worrying about where money will come from to pay the bill. I will trust him with all of my needs.

P- Lord, thank you for providing for all my needs and help me to continue to rely on you for all my needs. Lord, thank you that you will supply all my needs according to your riches in Glory in Christ Jesus. Help me to stay focused on my school work and not to become weary doing it in your name Amen.
